A friend of my husband’s asked me to edit his science-fiction-fantasy novel – not my favorite genre. After getting permission from my husband (because it was his friend), I told him to send me the first couple of chapters. I ripped it to shreds. Now he wants me to “work my magic” on the remaining 140,000 words! Oh, what a tangled web we weave.
